Dr. Chris earned his undergraduate degree from Westfield State University in 1991 and graduated with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1998. He has since gone on to complete advanced certifications in Chiropractic Sports Medicine (CCSP), Auriculotherapy, Decompression Therapy, Nutritional Response Testing, and Torque Release Technique. With a commitment to lifelong learning, Dr. Chris has taken countless hours of continuing education to refine his skills and better serve his patients. Originally from upstate New York, Dr. Chris eventually made his way to Southwest Virginia, where he and his wife Melissa are raising their three daughters—Elizabeth, Audrey, and Sophie. Family is one of his greatest passions, and he brings that same care and dedication into his practice. Early in his career, Dr. Chris focused mainly on pain relief. However, over time his approach evolved into what he now calls "brain-based chiropractic care"—addressing the root causes of health challenges by focusing on the nervous system and its ability to help the body adapt, heal, and thrive.

Having personally experienced the toll of chronic pain, Dr. Chris understands how symptoms can affect every part of life. That’s why he uses advanced technology, including digital X-rays and nervous system scans, to identify areas of stress and create personalized care plans. Dr. Chris is passionate about helping individuals and families take control of their health. His mission is simple: to help people live healthier lives—today and for the rest of their lives—by supporting the body’s natural ability to heal through chiropractic care and healthy lifestyle changes.

Dr. White grew up in Wytheville, VA, and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Radford University before pursuing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in Spartanburg, South Carolina. While chiropractic wasn’t always his initial path, a personal back injury in his early twenties changed everything. After struggling to find relief, a visit to a chiropractor helped him recover quickly and get back to the outdoors he loved. That experience sparked his passion and ultimately inspired him to dedicate his life to helping others through chiropractic care. Since then, Dr. White has completed additional training in sports rehab, nutrition, and pediatrics, and has developed a special passion for caring for patients of all ages—especially children. After chiropractic school, Dr. White and his wife Jasmine moved to Charleston, SC, where they enjoyed life by the beach with their golden retriever, Briggs. When they were expecting their daughter, Aurora, they felt called to return home to the mountains to be closer to family. As a lifelong athlete, Dr. White knows the importance of staying active and keeping the body moving. Whether it's golfing, hiking, biking, or simply spending time outdoors with his family, he practices what he teaches. Dr. White specializes in nervous system-based chiropractic care, which focuses on the connection between the brain, spine, and body. His goal is to help patients remove interference in the nervous system so they can function at their highest level. He also prioritizes education—helping practice members understand how posture, lifestyle habits, and spinal health play a key role in long-term wellness. Dr. White is passionate about empowering others to live a healthier, more active life—starting with the nervous system.
